Documented Maintenance & Recent Works
One of the strongest features of this particular Lagoon Power 43 is the level of maintenance documentation accompanying her.
Significant work carried out during the current ownership is supported by dated documentation from the relevant marine specialists and includes substantial preventative mechanical and comfort-system maintenance.
2024 – Major Cooling System Overhaul
A comprehensive overhaul of the cooling systems was carried out on both main engines.
All six heat exchangers per engine were removed, cleaned, tested and refitted, including:
- Water heat exchangers
- Engine-oil coolers
- Turbo coolers
- Gearbox coolers
New hoses were fitted as part of the work and an engine service was also completed.
2024 – New Exterior Canvas
New beige acrylic canvas was fitted to both the aft cockpit and flybridge, including modifications around the arch.
2025 – Air-Conditioning Overhaul
All three air-conditioning units underwent a comprehensive overhaul.
Works included:
- New seawater pumps
- New heating elements
- New fan where required
- New capacitor
- Acid descaling of condensers
- Cleaning and decontamination of the systems
2025–2026 – Fire Safety
Portable and fixed fire-fighting equipment has been professionally serviced and maintained, with current certification recorded in May 2026.
2026 – Annual Engine Service
The annual service of both main engines was completed in April 2026.
As part of the service, all raw-water pumps were removed, reconditioned and refitted.
The current engine-hour readings of approximately 2,943 and 2,971 hours show closely balanced use between the two engines.
